ADULT LEAGUES
Cool Sports offers a multitude of Adult Hockey leagues, ranging in skill level from beginner to advanced! Our Adult Hockey Leagues are offered 2-3 times a year. With our usual Summer ``Open`` League, and our Adult Winter Session.

When: Weeknights & Sundays.
Time Slots: After 9 PM weeknights, Sunday schedule varies
Cost: $650 + tax, with half due upfront as registration fee. 2nd payment due March 1st.

STRONG INTERMEDIATE
C1 DIVISION
The adult “C” league is designed for strong intermediate players over 18 years of age. Team is comprised primarily of experienced adult players with strong intermediate level skills who may have Non-Varsity College (ACHA), AA or AAA Amateur, Prep or Varsity High School playing experience.
INTERMEDIATE
C2 DIVISION
Team is comprised primarily of experienced adult players with intermediate level skills who may have high school, competitive amateur or Junior C playing experience. There may be a few players (but not a majority) that played at the lower levels of college club hockey.
ADVANCED BEGINNER
C3 DIVISION
The Adult C3 level team is comprised primarily of less experienced adult players. A few players may have up to high school playing experience, but most of the team has limited youth playing experience, or several years playing as an adult.
ADVANCED ELITE
B DIVISION
The “B” league is one our most advanced adult leagues. Players at this level have advanced skills in skating, passing, shooting, and/or positional awareness. Players at this level typically have Collegiate D3, College Club, Junior A or B or players that have at least High School hockey experience.
BEGINNER
ROOKIE LEAGUE
Since its creation in March of 2018, the Adult Rookie Hockey League (#ARHL) has been one of the most popular Cool Sports hockey programs.
League Dates: Rookie League will return in the Spring of 2025
Evening Skates: TBD
Experience the Excitement: Dive into the game with ARHL, designed exclusively for adult beginners eager to hit the ice. Each Monday night, immerse yourself in the fundamentals of hockey with 15-20 minutes of professional instruction. Then, put your new skills to the test in a friendly scrimmage, guided by a referee/coach who will provide continuous on-ice tips and gameplay knowledge.
Perfect for Beginners: Not quite ready for the competitive leagues? ARHL is your gateway to the sport, offering a supportive and instructive environment where you can learn at your own pace.

Flexible Registration Options:
- Full 8-Week League: Enjoy an early bird rate of $250 for the full season.
- Drop-In Rate: Just $35 per night for those with variable schedules.
- Gear Up: Full gear is required for all players.
Early Bird Special: Secure your spot early and save! Prices rise to $300 two weeks before the session starts. Skate rental included if needed.

ADULT LEAGUE
PLAYERS COMMITTEE
Players in our many adult leagues are represented by an appointed committee, made up of individuals from across all leagues. The role of the committee is to help govern, keep a pulse on player enjoyment, provide insight, suggestions, and feedback to help league officials facilitate growth and league improvements. The primary roles of the committee are as follows; Scheduling: Set game schedules for fair cadence and game times, set playoff format Discipline: Address discipline issues and penalties, review AHL rules & regulations Competition: Player placement in leagues and on teams, divisional alignment Quality Improvement: All-Star Games, on-ice and off-ice experience enhancements.

A long-time member of our adult leagues and native of Farmington Hills, Michigan. Roger chairs the players committee and oversees all activity as the main point of contact for this group.
